The beauty of this model is that it brews coffee directly into the carafe using the patented Brew-through lid. This makes serving coffee as easy as 1-2-3. The patented lid also dispenses the brewed coffee without having to twist and turn the carafe lid, it is so efficient that it can keep coffee hot for a programmable 8 hours. Not only this, it can preserve the coffee flavors making it the same as the moment you brew it. It assures freshly flavored coffee like the moment you brew it anytime.
This is also very compactly build with a dimension of 7 by 11 by 15 inches, it can snug nicely in any corner in your counter top. This model have a 24 hours programmability which allows us to schedule what time we want to wake up for our coffee, a very smart features and it could make java for maximum of 12 cups. This is very good especially when you are entertaining guest. Another good thing bout this model is that it has an easy to see indicator of water level making brewing very convenient.
Problems of this model
Like any coffee makers, there are relatively very minimal problems to it. However I often say, there is no perfect gadget thus the problem I encounter for this is that some people complain that it does not function as effectively like other models. It takes slightly a little longer to brew the coffee, approximately 30 minutes however I could say that this happens on isolated cases only.
Some also complain that this model is said to be noisier, it emits a sound like moving jet engines, and this model sometimes overflows from the reservoir. This could not be necessary the problem of the but sometimes we overfill it without noticing. Apart from this which I say a relatively small glitches of the coffee maker, I would still rate it as a very good for people who are looking for a small size coffee maker which delivers big results. This coffee makers are still the best coffee maker.

A Great coffee maker?

Our house is in dire need of a coffee maker. My mother wakes up every morning to grind and boil the water for my father who is very picky about taste. :/

We need a coffee maker that will last long and brew wonderful coffee. My father is pretty much the only person who drinks it every day and in all actuality, there is no problem for my mum to make his coffee. It’s just that we’re having very important company over and that person is even pickier than my father D:< Plus, that day we’ll be too busy with meals to really make coffee.

Mmmm… oh! I don’t think that we’d be keeping the coffee maker plugged in the outlet all day because we’ll always use fresh water and boil it right before brewing it. (Gosh, it sounds like we really don’t need a maker, haha.) We will never keep day old hot water and the longest time the coffee pot will be kept on the warmer plate thing will only be a few minutes — 15-30 at the absolute most.

I’d like the price to be less than 0 but it doesn’t really matter, so long as the quality is good. Do you have any suggestions?

To start it off, I was looking at the Bunn NHB Professional Home Brewer and the Cuisinart Brew Central DCC but I have no idea about anything :/ My dad’s leaving it up to me to find and buy it and we need it by next week. D:

Why doesn't my Cuisinart Thermal coffee maker function?

It starts making the coffee but doesn’t make the full pot. The water accumulates in the filter. I haven’t had this thing not even 1 year!

Coffee has chemical taste/smell?

Posted by Admin on 25 Jul 2010 | Filed under: Uncategorized

For some reason, when I make coffee at home with my 4 cup coffee maker, it has a chemical taste/smell. It sort of smells like rubbing alcohol, and tastes how it smells. I am using the correct amount of coffee, and I made sure there is no soap residue from when I wash out the pot and filter basket. Has anyone else had this problem before? Also-this has happened to two different brands of coffee makers; I threw my Mr.Coffee one in the garbage because I thought the chemical was coming from that, but my Cuisinart does the same.

Anybody having trouble with the Cuisinart Grind & Brew coffeemaker DGB-700BC shutting off as…?

Posted by Admin on 14 Jun 2010 | Filed under: Uncategorized

…soon as coffee is done?
In January we bought this unit and loved it! In April it started shutting off immediately after cooking the coffee. We tried everything, finally called Customer Service and was told to take it back for replacement. Did that in May, the second unit worked perfectly until last week and is now shutting off immediately. Called customer service — take it back was the suggestion — with the 3 year warranty we will be able to get a new coffee maker every 3-6 months forever if this continues! Anyone else having the same problem? Were you able to fix it?
